The entire writing process does not start with simply writing out an entire work without any prior planning and thought, which is a common misconception that many people have towards famous and rich writers. Writing takes a process of writing an open-minded, unpolished work, which will possibly not even make sense or will be like a diary entry, which you would only want to see. While I start out writing, I look at the end result of my first draft and become astonished at the horrible work that I have produced. However, I know this is not the end product, which is stated by the author of the book, Bird by Bird. Once an author has thrown out his first draft on paper, he or she will perfect this and polish this piece, making it more refined and essentially a better result of their endeavors.
